Taita is the Arabic word for grandmother. This is an image from c.1934 of my grandmother that I have restored. My mom requested I fix this picture in particular because she loves the expression on her face and calm demeanor. I also restored another picture, from about the same time period, of my [giddo] (Arabic for grandfather). These two will be displayed together in memory of my beautiful, loving, and generous grandparents.
